| partners | | Pam claims to not like going uphill, so of course she picked Picketpost!! I had never been there and had only unknowingly driven past it years ago. Then she asks if I mind "a little exposure". Wasn't sure what to think but figured I'd find out, hopefully not the hard way!
So we pull into to the trailhead and she says, "we're going up that crack!". I'm thinking "hmmm, this could get wild!". And it did, but not in a crazy way, just lots of fun! We took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, took a lot of pictures and had lots of laughs. I learned about GPS and radio from Brian on our stops on the way up. We kicked back at the top and had some lunch, explored over to check out the signal disc on the other peak and then headed down. The loose stuff coming down isn't fun but we all made it down ok. Somewhere along the way we decided beers weren't going to be enough, that we'd need some good food too. We didn't find the place Pam was looking for, but we found a great little place in AJ with big plates of really good food!
