| no partners | | The boys had been asking about a return trip to LaBarge and since the water was flowing so well the other day, today was the day! We left from First Water TH, went up Boulder Creek to the saddle at Battleship and dropped down from there. Of course the clouds moved in and the wind picked up while we were there having lunch, so we didn't stay too long.
They weren't up for a trip onto the ship so we passed on Battleship and just rock-hopped our way back to the Second Water intersection. They had a blast with that even though they each got a little wet.
Looked like a tough day to be on the ridgeline: snow in the morning and a cold, wintery looking cloud in the afternoon! |
