Hit up some of the Salt River recreation areas in hopes of finding some wild horses. We started at Phon D Sutton, then went to Coon Bluff. No horses seen either place. It wasn't unti we were at Blue Point, on part of the Goldfield Ovens Loop when we finally found some. Unfortunately the sun was directly behind them and there wasn't really anything we could do about that. After spending some time watching them, we drove up to the Butcher Jones area just to kill some time. Took some pictures of a decent sized Great Blue Heron.
