| no partners | | I almost turned around and drove right back home due to the still-lingering terrible smoke haze from the Woodbury Fire but as I drove around it appeared to clear slightly with a light breeze. Still, I figured I'd keep ti short and set off to map more horse trails from the gate on Bush Highway to the gravel pits and back, taking a trip up-and-over the hill near Bush.
To help ward off a raw throat I kept my neck gaiter soaked, breathing through it the whole trip, and even though the haze was clearing mid-hike, I can still feel it 9 hours later.
I encountered a few odds-and-ends... a javelina skull and past of its spine and hardened 'bags' of concrete, sans the bags. |
