| partners | | i've always wanted to take the dolly steamboat tour on canyon lake
with the parents in town, seemed like a good excuse
made the reservations on line when the forecast for monday was 60 degrees and 10% chance of rain
at our noon departure, it was 40 degrees and raining
the boat is enclosed and heated, so it was fine
we could see the canyon walls clearly enough
nice views, understated narration, not crowded in this weather
the highlight of the trip was seeing two sets of several bighorn sheep
posting some pictures, taken through glass and raindrops
relaxing, enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, followed by cowboy burgers at tortilla flat |
