| partners | | These two segments take our GET group to the west entrance of Aravaipa. The GET begins at First Water trailhead in the Supes, and ends in Albequerque NM. Saw some interesting things along the way (see photoset). Met Dave going the opposite direction and had lunch under the canopy of the San Pedro river. Nice breeze during the hike, so it never felt hot. The water cache at Freeman Rd is stuffed with gallon jugs of water.
Following the hike we stopped by JJs rancher friends house along Freeman Road, then drove up Cross Hill. Had dinner at Los Hermanos in Superior. Flo, our waitress, told JJ to "kiss my grits". Can't say what happened next. I asked her what she had been drinking. She said, "Oh, this is natural. I'm always like this". Fun times. |
