Spontaneous Saturday morning birding trip - I left the house around 0600 in hope to get up on the rim before the "Black Widow" biker gang (yes - this is a Every which way but loose reference....left turn Clyde) and the others invaded the high country, on this end of AZ bike week.

Of course, FR 300 was still closed, even though it was bone dry. So, I parked at the TH and proceeded down the road, just me and one other vehicle in the area. Being that I was alone - I tried my best "Finding Sasquatch" Bigfoot call, but......no one answered back. Bobo would have been proud of my efforts!

On the way back down 260, I encountered approximately 100 Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, on some sort of rally tour - it was pretty cool.
