This was my first trip to the famous "Thrasher Spot", named for the ability to see 5 species of Thrashers. This is a breeding area, but I was only able to see 2 species today, perhaps the clouds played a factor, I saw 4 Bendire's and 1 Sage thrasher. I photographed two different types Sparrows; Lincoln's and Brewers. Saw some Black Tailed Gnat catchers, Horned Lark and a few Sandhill Cranes.

Afterwards, I drove the back roads and went down to the Arlington Ponds - looking for Tundra Swans and Sandhill Cranes.

All in all, it was a great morning.
