| no partners | | Day #1 of a much needed 3 day road trip out of town!
Headed south out of Safford via the 191 then up US10 through Tucson and stopping at the ostrich ranch for a short visit with the big birds. Man ..... this was a fun start to the trip!!!
I fed, pet and was bit by ostriches, donkeys, fallow deer, goats, prairie dogs, ducks, sulcata tortoises and then the highlight of the visit ........ hand feeding the lorikeet parrots!
I then continued on to Chandler where I spent a real nice afternoon with "Pops" on this Father's Day.
Spent the nite in town, awoke very early and headed up north for day #2 in the Verde Valley .....
PS - The 3 feet of elevation was from walking up the ramp to feed the ostriches  |
