Day #2 of my 3 day road trip.

Arrived in Cottonwood at 7am and first drove up to Jerome SHP where I visited with 2 of my fellow SP rangers for a bit and toured the excellent museum. I then drove back down and parked low, loaded my pockets with water bottles and just had myself a real nice walk up & down the streets of Jerome
(ya know, doing the tourist thing)!
Bought a couple pieces of art, some souvenirs for friends back home and then had lunch at the Haunted Hamburger (thanks Randy & Pam, it was very good)!
Walked back down to the van, then drove back up and on to the Gold King Mine for the walking tour. Really cool place that I actually enjoyed (and the colorful character running it) as much as Jerome itself!

Next it was back down the road and on to Tuzigoot NM .....
