Great loop hike as always. Peralta trail on the other side of the canyon was in generally good shape. A few spots had some encroaching vegetation. Terrapin was a bit more overgrown, not serious bush wacking, but I had catclaw pulling on the pants and shirt sleeves many times as I pushed through them. Generally easy to follow the trail throughout, except one small section on the terrapin trail that gets just a little faint. I saw a decent sized turtle on the trail (1-2 foot long), which was quite a thrill. Also walked by a rock with a rattlesnake buzz.
