| no partners | | | Day hike with James. Originally planned a backpacking trip from Kingsbury South to Big Meadow, but because of smoke from the Rim Fire, we decided to do day hikes. Smoke was definitely there and cut into visibility, but wasn't too bad for hiking. There was only 1 running stream on this segment, and it was a small stream, but good enough if you filter. Scenery was beautiful, and unlike a hike in early June near Big Meadow, there were no bugs to speak of. |
