This was our first segment of the TRT. There were 5 of us in our group. Started at Big Meadow trailhead, and we shuttled a car over to Echo Lake TH. Scenery was beautiful, and there was plenty of water in streams. However, the mosquitoes were terrible and unfortunately we weren't prepared for them. Would highly recommend bringing a head net and long sleeved shirt/pants. We cut our trip short by one day because of the mosquitoes.
