| no partners | | I started out today at my intended time of 0800, but not in my intended location -- south of Globe -- due to waking up this morning to find it was raining up there. I had enough of that last month ( http://youtu.be/VFMsVGFF0LE ) north of Wilhoit. So, I did this instead. I had no plan, but as I was walking north from the 12th St trailhead, the second wash north from Car Wash -- the one with two cars in it ( http://hikearizona.com/photo=182120 and http://hikearizona.com/photo=190741 ) -- called to me. I figured I'd see if there was anything cool up it, then continue on the approved path. Instead, I kept climbing the wash until I got to the top of Hill 1833. It was steep, but non-scrambly, as I was able to find enough small foot ledges that I barely used my hands. After that, it was boop-boop-be-doop around the park for a few miles, then home.
