| partners | | I had the pleasure of hiking with Michelangelo and Raphael today. I can't believe I've never done this one before. Michelangelo whisked us down to the park and we were hiking in perfect weather by 7:30. He made sure to tell us about the poppies.
Nice trail, interesting cables to help the climb. Newman and Scat hill loomed to the east.
We made the summit it about an hour, enjoyed the views.

After checking out the other peak to the west, we ran into another HAZer on the way down that just had nothing but good things to say about the site. We scrambled back down and hit the Sunset Vista Trail. On the walk out on the road, Denny told us about the poppies.
