| no partners | | Skipped church to get GPS route for this little loop. I'm not sure I can come back to this area on a weekend again until the summer. It is so crowded! Being used the way it was meant to be used, but it's a traffic jam on Brown's Ranch Road. Actually this Cone Mountain loop is much less crowded but there's no elevation gain if you're looking for that.
I would bring elementary school-aged kids on this trail - perfect length and easy to follow signs. Lots of little geology elements to point out along the way. Views of distant mountains all around. Can't wait to see the slope of Cone Mountain once brittle are in bloom. Going to be a sea of yellow!! |
