| no partners | | I really don't know exactly what trail I did. I believe, based on the signs, it was part of the Shantz Trail. No matter. Accessed from Broadway at the entrance gate and headed south. Began at sundown, around 1810 hours, and finished off in the dark under a full moon around 1920 hours. Perfect temps, hiked alone. Nice sunset and the full moon later allowed for some walking with the headlamp off. Saw a jackrabbit, heard two packs of coyotes and the desert smelled like a florist! Took lots of pics. Hiked in, then turned around and retraced steps back to parking area. |
