| no partners | | | Wanted something close to home, and with the storm clouds, up so as to good views. Drove up here then parked the Jeep and made a couple of laps on some of the old mining roads. Surprising all the nice flowers. Nice colors. Noted a couple of claims have Rosemonts' name on them; unfortunate. Most of the mines are reclaimed but still interesting with old mill sites, etc. Encountered some four wheelers at the old Helvetia town site, of which not much is left. Got underground a little. Lots of little trails due to animals and rock hounds. |
