Did a small Canyon south of Cedar City at a much lower Elevation than Benson Creek Canyon the day before....
One Mandatory Rappel and the rest were optional Downclimbs...Most Rappelled into the Canyon and then did the Mandatory Rappel. Then we opted to play around at the last Downclimb before the Exit and do a Deadman's Anchor.
All Sandstone and the Narrows were completely Dry.
Got a lot of great practice on Downclimbs, Stemming, Chimneying and Bridging which was really good for me, as these are Skills where I am sorely lacking and needed some Confidence...Great Canyon for that....
This is a great, quick, short little Canyon that packed in the Scenery and Fun....
Another good Day in a Canyon with a Fun Crew! |
