| no partners | | The aeg and mileage is a guess. I tried posting a gps route but it was pretty messed up. Anyways, I started at Buggeln and headed down and then up again and then contoured to the saddle. The way back I found a much better route that I guess most people use. The crux of the climb is the chimney which isn't fun with a pack on but its not too bad. If you go as a group, I'd suggest helmets or stay out of the chimney while others are climbing. The part you top out at has small little rocks which you will throw down. After the chimney, there are a couple of scree spots which I think is why some people choose to rappel off a sling up there or maybe they set up a hand line. The views were pretty awesome and the company was . After the scary scree part, I got to the chimney and threw my pack down and my water bottle when flying way further but I found it. Headed to the granery for a snack which I forgot to pack. The hike back was way better. This was new peak number 24 on the year |
