and then another. A guy looking for his dogs pulled up and we started talking. I decided to jump in his jeep and help him. We found the dogs whiskey and brandy around West Sawmill Canyon right by the well. Mike was going for a ride up the road so I decided I'd hang onto the trailer and jog behind him. I did this for about a quarter mile or more and then I started to lag behind. I know its dangerous but its also fun. As a kid, we bumper slid behind cars on the snow and that was 
. By the time I made it to the top, he had already been there for about 15mins. He told me about the area and we talked about a myriad of subjects. From WWII to fiction books to dogs to hiking to shooting to illegals to border patrol to Cali to mines to jeeps and lots of other 
. Mike drove be back and both dogs were jockeying for my lap and attention. I picked up my bike and threw it in the trailer and he drove me to my lunch spot. We chilled there for awhile and I drank a beer or two and he and the dogs drank water. Cool area...fun exploration for a go at Florida Peak from somewhere over there.
