| no partners | | Finally hit some dirt other than a power line or wagon road.
We snuck out behind the warehouse area hit the power line road to the "Stick House Valley" single track which connects behind our housing.
Its soft and easy going until it nears Rowe Well rd then it gets rocky and rolly. I was a bit nervous but once I was heading downhill into the rocks I realized there was no stopping now  it was crazy fun!
We had to step off our bikes, carry them across a poo water stream then up a hill where I discovered a "shoe graveyard"...very strange! (See pics)
We rode Rowe Well out to the people mover mules' hitching post then crawled along a very rocky single track out to the Abyss viewpoint along Hermit Road.
Took H rd out to H Rest and split a sandwich then raced back home alone the asphalt
Awesome day, great ride, wonderful weather!!! Slowly warming up again!! |
