One day he put me in the back of the car and I was all excited because I thought we were going hiking. But instead we went to a restaurant with a patio. It was hot and I wouldn't drink my water. But I've learned that dad will pour some of that fizzy yellow water in my bowl and then I'll drink it all. It's so much better that way!
Soon it was time to leave, and dad went back to the car. But I had to go to another one. I was confused. A man on a motorcycle drove by. I barked. Then I forgot why I was barking.
I got to sleep in the bed again . The next day I spent 2 hours attacking the sprinklers in the back yard. I was soaking wet and really tired. After that the sprinklers didn't come on when I was home alone anymore. I was sad.
The next day we went for a long drive. I met a cute new girl and we had some fun in the back seat. Don't tell dad! I'll always remember Lily as the first girl I deflowered --Kyle said he would have a talk with dad about my behavior when he got home.
We went for a long walk with lots of water. I swam, and ran and swam some more. That night we slept outside. I was tired. In the morning we went for another long walk. It was great. Finally we got back to the car and I got to ride in back with Lily again. We were both too tired to play. We stopped and I got to bark at some horses. We stopped somewhere else and there were other dogs and that yummy yellow fizzy water.
Back at the house with the sprinklers that don't go on anymore, I got to sleep in the bed all the time. But I still liked to wake up at 4:30am just to eat breakfast and then go back to bed. I'm dumb. I liked walking to the park every day. There were lots of other dogs there.
One day we got back in the car and went for another long drive. When we got out it was snowing and windy. I was excited!
A lot of people came and I met another dog. Daisy might be small but she told me who was boss pretty quickly. Then it was fun to play with her. The next day we climbed a really big hill. But it was fun because there were more creeks to play in and then ... there was snow . I love snow! I forgot about the 20 miles I walked and played in the snow. A nice lady also gave me some beef jerky. She's my new bestest friend.
That night I slept really well. I was a little tired in the morning but the people were going on a walk again so I had to go. I spent the whole day playing in the river. This is the best walk I have ever been on! And my new bestest friend was there with snacks too!
We slept outside again and the people told me I slept through my cousins singing and running outside my tent! . The next day we went for another long drive in the car. When I finally got out of the car I was so tired I almost didn't realize I was in dad's driveway -- and dad was there!
I ran past him and jumped in the pool. That was 2 days ago. I've been asleep since then. Hiking is fun, but I should probably not do so many miles next time.
It was nice to be back home, but I think I might've had a better vacation than dad did.
