| no partners | | | I drove up to Santa Rosa to visit my sister Val, we started the day out at the REI garage sale where she scored two internal frame backpacks and two pair of shoes. She picked up $700 worth of gear for about $100. I found nothing. Then we headed over to Jack London State Park and were completely surprise by an incredibly beautiful and interesting farm and property Jack London developed in Sonoma County. If you're ever in wine country, I highly recommend visiting this place. The Wolf House (that burned after completion) is amazing! The stone structure still stands in tact and would have been quite a sight to see in the 1800s. Several hiking options are available in the park from easy to strenuous. |
