This is a great hike. Most of the snow is gone now. I didn't hit snow on the trail until about 2.25 miles. The waterfall at 2.5 was nearly dry. There was a trickle of water but no real flow. I turned back at 3 miles for a total of 6 miles. The creek in the canyon below was flowing and you can hear it from the trail. I saw no wildlife except for birds. Weather was perfect for a day hike.
