Barnhardt Trail to Chilson's Camp. Wish I could have seen this area before the fire and before the USFS capped the springs. Some of those alligator junipers must have been 400 years old.

Amazing to think of the history of this trail. I can imagine what it must have been like to have been a young cavalry soldier on this trail.
