A friend and I left met up around 3am, in the pouring rain. We stopped off for some supplies then headed toward Wickenburg. The neighborhood streets where already flooded. I was worried about the road conditions up near Whickenburg. Constellation road was in great condition. Even in the rain, we didnt have any issues. We drove Constellation Rd to the end and back. We Stopped at the ghost towns and some mines along the way. There wasn't a lot of hiking involved with this trip. Most places had No Trespassing signs. We had to take our pictures from a distance. I couldnt ask for better weather for early September. Low 70s |
