Everything we had heard about this place was spot on, it was gorgeous. The Blue Lakes trail was an amazing hike and I would recommend it to anyone. Summiting Mount Sneffels was a great reward. The skree field on our way up Sneffels made things interesting. It was the only part of the hike/climb that was not enjoyable. My friend slid about 40-50 yards down the skree field uncontrolled but escaped without injury. The walk back down Blue Lakes trail was a little rough due to tired feet. The hike overall was amazing! |
