| no partners | | | Variety pack with snow. Took some little side trails, but nothing worth adding to the route. Only part that needed micro spikes was getting to the high point at Crowe gulch. Sketchy coming down with spikes and trekking poles. Someone and dog broke trail to RTP and turned around. The rest of the route was in 4" snow. It was snowing hard enough that my tracks were filling in on the way back. Second lap was getting warm. Somebody or thing took my skull I left on the log. No tracks to or from in the snow so it must have been removed yesterday. Did I mention I got to play in the snow? |
