| no partners | | | Trying to add a little variety to the daily grind. Headed to Crowe Gulch named for the Crowe family who homesteader the area after Lincoln signed the homestead act into law. Nothing remains of their homestead except the name. However, yesterday I saw the peak above the gulch and thought I would add the peak to my 2 laps. No real trail up and pretty steep. Nice views including a view of Mt. Esther to the west. Started at the right time for the weekend as I ran into 10 people and two dogs on the way down. Trail clearing up enough to get back into the blue suede shoes mañana. |
