Got on the trail just before 7am- weather was perfect for a hike. My dad had me download HAZ Tracks app, so i had the trail uploaded. Even with the app i got off trail a few times, but managed to realize it before going too far! the ascent was a little more than i expected, im still new at this but the views were worth the climb. Crossed paths with a few guys doing some trail maintenance and 2other hikers, but for the most part had the trail to myself. No gnats!
