| no partners | | | I got started from the Warpaint trailhead around 5:15. Cool temps for the first mile, warmer after that. Headed up Corona East, then east on Guadalupe Ridge, where I was treated to a nice sunrise. I dropped down to Hidden Valley at Fat Man's Pass, and encountered the first people of the day near the tunnel. I stayed in the wash after the tunnel, and made my way down to the stone buildings at the beginning of National. From there, I climbed back up to Guadalupe Ridge and took it the full length back west to Eagle Pass and National. From National, I headed over to Corona and back down. Today was by far the most people I'd ever seen on Corona. Good Thanksgiving morning hike! |
