Group ride cancelled. I didn't get the memo, or check online for that matter. Went on a group of one ride. :lol:

Rode north through Papago to a park just south of Camelback Mnt. Returned mostly the same way.

Stopped at Petersen Park on the return, which is at Southern and Priest (NWC). Across the street from REI. I have gone by it many times but never stopped to take a look. There is water and shade there along with a few picnic tables and a kids play area.

The Petersens are buried there. Their house, built in the 1890's IIRC, is on display. Nice little park with some interesting history.
