This felt like a winter hike. Windy and cool to start followed by rain most of the way up. The rocks were slick, but we still made decent time going up. Thought it would be socked in on top with no views. When I reached the tip of Flatiron the clouds broke revealing some outstanding views.

Met two guys who had camped over night. They said the wind was like a typhoon last night. The wind swept the clouds in and about us in rapid succession. Very cool.

The hike down was slick but not as bad as I was expecting. Good group. Fun hike. Thanks for driving Denny.
