| partners | | The last time I tried this, we had to turn back because of conditions like this [ photo ] [ photo ] .
We were less that a 1/10 of a mile and 100' of climbing away, but after seeing what we hadn't been to yet, we made the right choice.
The chute's a bit of work to get up and it would pay to have some grippy shoes.
I don't know how you can beat the 360 views from up top.
We spent 10 minutes or so up top (A LOOOONG break for JJ) and then headed back down.

Weather could not have been too much more perfect for this attempt.
60's to begin, low 80's to finish.
We did not see a single person, car, truck, or ORV, the entire length of Four Peaks Road. Both coming up from 87 and heading down to Roosevelt.
Thank's JJ for Getting me up there....
On to Part 2 |
