We started from the Warpaint trailhead, and as we made our way over to Corona, we watched the thunderheads build. We headed on up Corona, but after a short distance, decided the lightning was too close for us to be so exposed. So we turned around and headed back down to the car. Of course, the lightning pretty much stopped a few minutes later! We'll try again Friday, weather permitting. We still had a good time, and got some great pics of the storm as it was approaching.
