| no partners | | You ever been driving down the road and looked over at a mountain or a peak and get that urge? Today on the way out from Quartz Peak that happened to me as I was passing Sevenmile Mountain. I sent JohnLP a text saying we need to hit Sevenmile Peak sometime. He replied and said "when it gets cooler like November". Screw that I am doing it now!
I'm probably the only person in history to go up this sucker in July. Actually I am pretty sure this one doesn't get much visitation ever. I seem to recall Sbkelley and Desertboonie did it before but I think that is it from HAZ.
No signs of human activity on this trip minus the board and stack of rocks up top. Once at the peak I noticed a bunch of red ants with wings everywhere!  Me and ants don't get along so well. Add wings and this guy isn't sticking around!
Down I went and about that time thunder started to rumble from above. I was thinking I need to get off this mountain and down the road quick! I made good time and got out with no problems.
