| partners | | Let the games begin. Sam and I went in today and did some initial work. On the way to meet him I stopped at Home Depot and picked up a bunch of Citristrip and all the necessary supplies. The cashier asked me what I was doing with all of it and I told her we were cleaning Graffiti. She told me that there is a great product in the Paint Department just for that. It is called Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover. It is also biodegradable and safe to use. I bought a bottle and brought it along to try. The stuff works great and leaves far less residue than Citristrip.
This is my new go to for sure. In fact while Sam continued to work I went back to Home Depot returned the other 5 cans of Citristrip and bought 5 more bottles of the Krud Kutter.
When I returned he headed out and I continued with the efforts. I am sure I hit at least 20 dots and probably more. Sam had been working on arrows while I was gone. I'm not sure the count but we made a sizable dent. I would say we cleared 25% of the damage between us.
Hopefully We will get some additional joiners for Saturday morning. If we had 5 and everyone hit 10 dots and 2 arrows we could wipe it out in about 2.5 hours of actual work. More people would make it even easier. Less means I will end up spending more days out there doing what I like least.
Take a look at the pics... |
