2nd Warm Up Canyon of the Day with Lower Angel Creek being the 1st. This is the Technical Section of Portland Creek with 2 Rappels. You are basically pretty much in Town on this one...Canyoneers familiar with this Route have worked out an Exit that pops you out into a City Playground right next to your Vehicles, as long as you set up the quick Shuttle... :lol:

The Approach and Exit are as Easy as you will ever get for a Technical Area...

The 1st Rappel is the Main Attraction and people can actually watch from a Bridge overhead...It's approximately 55 Feet down a Waterfall... :y:

Probably just a little more Difficult than you would find in Angel, simply due to Rappelling right in the Water and the Slick Rock there. The Flow was about the same, maybe just a tad more than Angel had...

Short, Sweet, Fun and you get Wet...Good Times...Nice way to Ease into the Reputable Class C Canyons in Ouray...

The next Step Up in Difficulty would be a Big One...And Judging from how I felt on these 2, I was Ready.... :y:
