Decided to get right back in the saddle. Grabbed my barely 6-hour old $750 computer and threw it naked into my pocket and headed out into a rain and lightning storm. :y:

Rain stopped, and eventually the breeze died down and it got muggy. Didn't see anybody else, and cruised the whole way. Got dark toward the end but city lights and a cloudy night were more than enough to keep my feet on the trail.

Apparently if you try to move at a near-native-BobP-pace, you can keep Brutus off your heels. I'll have to try that again.
