This is now my favorite route up Old Baldy. The drive in from Patagonia is beautiful, I will definitely be returning after spotting some great campsites to spend a weekend.
Plenty of water along the trails, lush green slopes and canyons after a generous monsoon in the range. Nice wildflower displays, and great company. Good to meet the folks from the Phoenix area too.

Dinner was at Patagonia's Velvet Elvis.
