| partners | | This easy loop trail is in Red Rock State Park in Sedona. Take 89A west and to lower Red Rock Loop Road. Go 2.9 miles and turn right on Red Rock state park road. There's a small visitors center and many intersecting small trails that skirt around Oak Creek.
Eagle's Nest Loop goes to the highest point in the state park and has nice views of Oak Creek with Cathedral rock in the background. There are markers pointing out mesas, mountains, and some of the nick names: coffee pot, three sisters, etc.
