| no partners | | | Finished the Hoolie Bacon hike with 17.3 miles but that's such an ugly number I decided to do a hike in the Goldfield Mountains to round up the day with 20 miles. I like that number much better. This was another hike around sunset. Access to the trail is from the Willow Springs Canyon Trail Head and follows the Willow Spring Canyon Trail for about .2 miles before heading west between two unnamed hills. Followed this trail for about a mile to where it joined another trail that I don't have a name for. None of the trails are marked and I could find very little information on trail names (other than trail names given by mountain bikers which don't match hikers trail names). In spite of not knowing anything about any of the trails in this area, this was a pleasant hike at sunset. |
