| no partners | | | Parked in the empty Grasshopper day use site with the plan to go up Casner Canyon to Schnebly Hill road to Munds Wagon Trail to Cow Pies to Hangover and return on Damifino Trail. Unfortunately, Oak Creek was running strong and running deep. Unable to find a suitable crossing we dropped to plan B. Took Allen's Bend trail down to the bridge and headed up Wilson Canyon trail to the end. Took a side trip up Jim Thompson trail to add some time and miles. Returned the way we came. Passed miles and miles worth of cars heading into Sedona on our way out. Stopped at Red Rock Cafe in Oak Creek for some beers and burgers. |
