| no partners | | | My plan this morning was to go out to the White Tanks, climb some miles on Goat Camp Trail and then head off to Luke AFB to see some planes. Arrived at the gate at 6:15 and was off on the trail shortly there after. Saw one guy on a bicycle loaded with bags, and about an hour later, three more fella's on their way back down. Also saw two guys tent camping just below mile marker 3. Went about another mile and decided to turn back and head for Luke. Passed maybe 10 people on their way up and a few who had turned back toward the trailhead. At about 1.5 mile mark I ran into one of my old dirt bike riding buddies that I haven't seen for a few years. He returned with me and we headed to lunch to catch up. Never made it to Luke, guess I'll have a chance to wade through the crowds tomorrow. |
