| no partners | | I felt like garbage today. I stayed out too late yesterday, woke up too early today, and I need double the caffeine just to keep my brain from shutting down. Nonetheless, I did muster up enough brain cells to be somewhat productive today and went on an average hike. I was supposed to do a moonlight photo shoot with my friend today, but she canceled, so I went hit Pima Canyon, or whatever that area of South Mtn is called.
I only brought one lens because I was too lazy. I managed to come across 2 patchnosed snakes, and toward the end of the hike, a dback. The 1st patchnosed snake was BIG. I figured large patchnosed snakes would get eaten or killed by people, but this one appeared to be doing well. The rattler did not rattle. I thought that was a good thing, since there were folks nearby. South Mountain is looking very dry. Snake count is at 89. I hope to break 100 by June and a call from the president congratulating me on my accomplishments. |
