| no partners | | GREAT TO BE BACK ON THE TRAILS!!! After a sudden 17 day trip to California and a minor surgery, it was great to be out there after more than a month!!! Even though I did some hiking on my old hometown trails in Cali the leisurely walk I took today was long time coming! I got to the trailhead before the sun was up-I was that anxious to get out there. 53 degrees and overcast and of course I overdressed and took off a layer about half way up the Pima Wash. I actually walked up the wash today and saw some great and interesting rock formations. I turned back about halfway up in case a sudden storm was to hit which looked possible. There was some hikers I passed in the wash that went all the way to Fat Mans Pass but I wasn't that ambitious. The parking lot was only half full when I got there and two thirds full when I left. Lots of runners and bikers today. I did do some off roading, but don’t tell anyone.  |
