| no partners | | Noah's first camping trip. A revisit with the whole family my trip with Micah last year. He had fun on day one but was sick all night and just wanted to hang with Mama at the beach day two. I had concerns both ways crossing Medano Creek before the first campsites. It was DEEP! Water levels where we played were a lot higher and thank goodness for bug spray 'cause the mosquitos rivaled Louisiana. Skipped Zapata falls and another day because Noah was sick. Hiked up to the highest point both days. Ran down one day dragged the sled up the other day. A lot of work for one mile of hiking. Next time snowshoes and the tobbaggon the cheap sled I brought only started picking up speed when I managed to bend the front end up. Muesli was a sandy muddy mess as usual.
