| no partners | | | Work in Vegas meant opportunities to go play in Valley of Fire again. Amazing place, especially later in the afternoon as the sun dips. Sandstone in open shade creates the most incredible colors. I didn't hike the main trails, with the exception of a night hike to elephant arch. I parked at few of the designated parking areas and then headed off in a direction that looked interesting. It's only an hour drive from town so I was able to get out two afternoons in a row and stay well after dark (Shhh, don't tell the rangers...) |
