| no partners | | | A tad late with this, too much work travel the last couple of weeks. Compared to the last few years, this showing lived up to the hype, at least in my opinion. I ended up choosing a location off the Harquahala Summit road since the area enjoys pretty dark skies. The moon was waxing a little over 50% and didn't set until around 12:45am, so that messed up the show until after 1:00am. But for the next 3 hours or so it was impressive, at times witnessing 3 or 4 meteors at the same time. Worst part of the night was the murderous bugs. |
